Dani

Dani is a PhD candidate in the Department of Health, Kinesiology & Applied Physiology at Concordia University. A FKQ certified Kinesiologist working at Constance Lethbridge, she is interested in how blood flow restriction training (BFR) can be used in rehabilitation settings.

Throughout her bachelors in Kinesiology at Concordia University (2023) she developed a passion for connecting and helping people through exercise. Her intention in both her work and studies is to promote physical activity for everyone, and to demonstrate how exercise can be both treatment and prevention.

Dani has presented research findings at various conferences in Canada and the USA. She has received several awards, including from the American College of Sports Medicine – Greater New York Chapter and the prestigious Master’s training scholarship from Canadian Institute for Health Research/Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada.

Dani is a FKQ certified Kinesiologist. She holds a BSc. in Kinesiology and Clinical Exercise Physiology from Concordia University, and a certification in ECG Preparation from the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology.
